FOUR SEASONS AT THE SURF CLUB
Project Summary
Surfside, FloridaÂ
Originally established in 1930 as one of Miami Beach’s most iconic private social clubs, Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club was thoughtfully reimagined to create a landmark luxury hospitality and residential experience that balances historic preservation with contemporary architectural sophistication. The project carefully restored and preserved the cultural significance and architectural integrity of the original Russell Pancoast-designed Surf Club while introducing contemporary hospitality environments that respect the site’s historic legacy and oceanfront setting.
The design approach focused on preserving the timeless elegance and social heritage of the historic club through the restoration of original architectural detailing, landscaped courtyards, and ceremonial gathering spaces while seamlessly integrating contemporary glass towers, luxury residences, and world-class hospitality amenities. Through a refined dialogue between historic preservation and modern design, Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club creates a sophisticated hospitality experience rooted in heritage, exclusivity, and the timeless lifestyle of Miami Beach.
