Project Summary
Collins Park Historic reimagines a landmark Art Deco building in Miami Beach's Collins Park Historic District, preserving its streamlined stucco façade, signature rooftop tower, and vertical fluted detailing beneath a canopy of mature palms. The restored street-facing elevation retains its original massing and pedestrian-scaled proportions, anchoring the building firmly within its Art Deco-era streetscape. At the building's core, a fully reimagined addition rises above the historic base sleek volumes wrapped in warm timber slatting and glass provide a striking contemporary counterpoint to the preserved exterior. A rooftop pool deck and lounge bar, framed by floating balconies, crown the building, offering guests a private outdoor retreat, while a landscaped courtyard with twin pools and sun decks brings resort-style green space to the heart of the block. Collins Park Historic pairs sensitive historic preservation with a bold modern insertion, honoring its architectural legacy while introducing a fresh, amenity-rich chapter to the building's story.
