BRUTALIST HORIZON
Project Summary
Designed as a contemporary waterfront single-family residence, Brutalist Horizon was envisioned around sculptural architectural form, material-driven design, and a seamless connection between modern living and the surrounding tropical landscape. The residence’s architectural expression emphasizes monolithic stone-clad volumes, dramatic cantilevered forms, expansive glazing, and layered rooftop environments that create a bold yet refined presence along the waterfront.
The design approach focused on creating an immersive indoor-outdoor residential experience through resort-inspired terraces, integrated wellness and entertainment spaces, reflective water features, and lush tropical landscaping that softens the home’s strong geometric language while enhancing privacy and spatial flow. Carefully framed courtyards, elevated outdoor living areas, and panoramic waterfront views further reinforce the relationship between architecture, light, and the surrounding environment. Through a balance of brutalist-inspired architectural language, functional spatial planning, and elevated waterfront living, Brutalist Horizon reflects a contemporary interpretation of modern Miami residential architecture.
