Located within Miami’s historic Overtown neighborhood, Overtown Youth Center was designed as a community-centered educational and recreational environment focused on empowerment, mentorship, and youth development. The project’s architectural expression emphasizes openness, functionality, and welcoming communal spaces that foster learning, creativity, and connection while creating a safe and inspiring environment for the surrounding community.

The design approach focused on supporting educational growth, wellness, and community engagement through thoughtfully integrated classrooms, recreational facilities, collaborative gathering areas, and outdoor environments designed to encourage interaction and opportunity. Through a balance of contemporary architectural language, community-oriented planning, and purpose-driven design, Overtown Youth Center contributes to the continued investment in youth empowerment and neighborhood development within Miami’s urban core.
