An internationally acclaimed architect, Kobi is a man of few needs. Comfortable shoes and a sketchbook are his essentials. When AC Hotels was looking to launch in Miami Beach, he turned a parking lot into a boutique hotel with lush indoor and outdoor amenities. Blending clean design with reclaimed beach materials such as glass, plastic and wood, the interior breathes an air of effortless sophistication, in perfect harmony with its natural environment. On the rooftop you'll find a pool with Caribbean-inspired hammocks alongside a bar inspired by Middle Eastern communal tables, offering the solo traveler the opportunity to have breakfast with others. Kobi: ‘Traveling is an integral part of my life. Experiencing a diversity of cultures is humbling; it makes you more receptive to seeing yourself for who you are as a human being.’
