Cambria Hotel With 204 Rooms Planned In Brickell

A Cambria hotel is in the planning stages in Brickell. CS Brickell Hotel, LLC has filed plans to build a 204-unit hotel at 145, 155 and 165 SW 12th St. The company is an affiliate of Choice Hotels, which owns the Cambria brand. The company signed a utilities deal for the hotel this week. CS Brickell paid $9.5 million for the property last year. Several multifamily buildings on the 22,500 square foot lot have been demolished to make way for the hotel. Around the corner, an Indigo Hotel is planned by Intercontinental Hotel Group, among several other hotel projects within blocks. Kobi Karp is the architect.
