Soon to be Miami’s tallest building, the oval Panorama Tower between Brickell Avenue and Biscayne Bay will be a beacon for the neighborhood.
Positioned east of Brickell Avenue, counteracting shift westward of neighborhood construction and expansion shifts westward, Panorama Tower at 1101 Brickell Avenue will be the tallest building in the City of Miami when completed, at 849 feet. Linked via its parking garage and a ground level pedestrian-oriented paseo to an existing office building on Brickell Avenue, the combined buildings create a cross-block linkage, connecting Brickell Avenue with Brickell Bay Drive where that second road takes a wide curve. The existing office building remains, while a crystalline box is added to contain a bank branch facing Brickell Avenue.
The oval high-rise is angled at this Brickell Bay Drive bend, to minimize solar gain and maximize views of Biscayne Bay and Brickell Avenue. The 85-floor building has a vertical layering of mixed uses, with residential, offices, and a hotel.
