The Marriott Miami Airport Complex consisted of the new construction of a 6-story Residence Inn and a 10-story Courtyard hotel located near the Miami International Airport. Architectural services for the project included the exterior renovation of the existing full service Marriott as well as the addition of eye-catching entry features and way finding.
The development had to stand out and become a highly sought after Miami destination in reputation. The design concept for the site focused primarily on creating a “cosmopolitan oasis” where business and vacation travelers could come together in a comfortable environment. The architectural and interior design of both lobbies are specifically geared to a time conscious traveler, featuring hi-tech amenities that could allow for remote airline and baggage check-in.
